I can’t believe that the Tucson Festival of Books of over for another year. As always the presenting authors and illustrators where incredible. Inspiration galore! For now I’m posting some photos of some of the faculty that was there but I’ll be posting some more detailed write-ups of some of the sessions over the next few days.
My wonderful friend Lynne Avril with the awe-inspiring Mr Jerry Pinkney. Wow! Mr Pinkney presented a studio demonstration of his painting techniques. Keep checking back for a more detailed write up about it.
One of the panels featured Peter Brown, Chris Gall and Molly Idle and it was moderated by….
… the amazing David Christiana. Not only does he teach illustration at the university of Arizona, he is one of the most amazing illustrators that I know.
Fellow SCBWI-AZ members and authors at the SCBWI-AZ booth.
Here is Mr Floyd Cooper. He also gave a studio presentation of his technique. Let me just say that “WOW” you will be blown away when I post a write-up about that session.
I better get busy so writing more about the sessions.
Happy creating to you all.
