Wow! What great news! The wonderful Megumi Lemons, a most talented illustrator friend of mine, nominated me for a Sunshine Award. Thank you Miss Goomie. You should check out her work as it is so beautiful and sentitive, plus she works in acrylics and acrylic guache, my favorites.
What Megumi found out was that the “Sunshine Award is awarded to bloggers whose positivity and creativity inspire others in the blogging world.” Now I have to say double thank to Miss Goomie. Thank you so much for nominating me.
To pay it forward, here is my list of twelve bloggers that I read constantly which inspire and inform wonderfully:
Gurney Journey – James Gurney, creator of “Dinotopia”, post daily to this incridible art blog
Lines and Colors – Great blog about drawing, sketching, painting, etc. with wonderful write ups on various artists.
Mikela Prevost – Incredible watercolor/collage artists and a mum to boot.
Elizabeth Dulemba – Daily posts about the illustration world by this incredible author/illustrator.
Lynne Chapman – Lynne posts wonderful sketches, tips and updates about her busy schedule. Definitely an illustrator to emulate. 🙂
Paul Mirocha – Fellow AZ illustrator and friend posts thought provoking content and glimpses at his work.
Asia in the Heart – Tarie posts wonderful information about writer’s, artists and art in Asia.
Illustration Castle – Heather Castle is from Australia, is a mum and an illustrator. Three major pluses in my book seeing that I used to live in Aussie, and am mum and an illsutrator as well.
Rad How To – Rad Sechrist’s blog is a great resource if you need help on how to construct characters.
Eric Fortune – Incredible artist.
Princess Tomato – Teri Skrdla is a great friend and an incredible artist.
